The 60-second version
When you register for a Le Day Club (LDC) event, we ask for some personal information so we can run the event safely, contact you, and accept your payment. We keep your information private, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. We'll tell you before anything changes that matters.
Who's responsible for your data
15811856 Canada Inc., the federally incorporated entity behind Le Day Club, is the controller of your personal information. Privacy questions go to tiguidou@leday.club, and your message will be handled by the person responsible for the protection of personal information at LDC, as required by Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
What we collect
- Your name, age range, and Montréal-area neighbourhood, so we can balance teams and find the right venue size.
- Your email, phone, and (optionally) Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn handles, for event reminders, day-of logistics, and post-event feedback.
- A waiver acknowledgement, recorded with the legal name you typed and a timestamp, required to attend.
- Your payment status, from Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see your card number; Stripe does.
- Whether you consented to LDC photographing and posting event footage on social media, separately, opt-in.
- Anything else you choose to write in a free-text field (voucher request, hiring note, etc.).
What we do with it
- Run the event. Roster, team assignments, check-in, attendance, safety.
- Talk to you. Reminders, day-of updates, and a post-event feedback request. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying or writing us.
- Improve future events.Aggregate stats: showing rates, gender balance, neighbourhood spread. Never published with anyone's name on it.
- Post event highlights only ifyou opted in to photo/video consent at signup, and only on the LDC website and the public @ledayclub accounts (Instagram, TikTok). You can withdraw consent at any time and we'll remove content where you're identifiable.
Who else sees your information
- Stripe(payment processing), sees your email and the amount you paid. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
- Supabase (database hosting), stores the data you submit. Hosted in the U.S. (East). By signing up, you consent to the transfer of your information outside Quebec for storage and processing.
- Resend (email delivery), handles the emails we send to you.
- Cloudflare (backend workers, content delivery), routes the requests between your browser and our database.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside this list except when the law requires us to (court order, emergency).
Analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHog (US Cloud) to understand how visitors move through the site, which pages they read, which buttons they click, where they drop off in the register-and-pay funnel. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not run ad-network trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel).
What gets captured: anonymous device info (browser, OS, screen size), the URLs you visit, named events we explicitly emit (e.g. auth_signed_in, stripe_checkout_succeeded), and JavaScript errors. Once you sign in, events get associated with your account so we can measure the funnel end-to-end; before sign-in they're tied to a random browser ID.
What does NOT get captured: payment-card details (those stay with Stripe), the signature you draw on the waiver, the contents of free-text fields, or anything you type into a password / email / phone input. Auto-capture is disabled. We only fire the named events listed above.
Your choice: analytics is opt-in. The banner at the bottom of the page on your first visit asks you to Accept or Decline; nothing fires until you click Accept. You can change your mind here:
Current state · Not decided yet
Retention: 12 months, then aggregated and the per-user records are deleted.
Your rights (Law 25 + Code civil)
You have the right to:
- Access, ask what we have on you and get a copy.
- Correct, fix anything that's wrong or out of date.
- Delete, ask us to remove your account and the data tied to it. We'll keep what we're legally required to keep (payment records for tax purposes, the signed waiver for the limitation period) and confirm the rest is gone.
- Withdraw consent, for photo/video use, for marketing emails, for anything optional you opted in to.
- Complain, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you think we're mishandling your data.
Write tiguidou@leday.club and we'll respond within 30 days, per Law 25.
How long we keep it
Registration and event data: 3 years after your last event, then deleted. Payment records: 6 years, per Canadian tax law. Waiver: 2 years after the event (the Quebec limitation period for personal-injury claims). Photo/video you consented to: until you ask us to take it down.
If we change this policy
We'll bump the version at the top of this page and email everyone with an active signup. Substantive changes are not retroactive, your acceptance is tied to the version you saw the day you registered (we record it).
